Goldfarb v. Yelton, 6/27/13

The appellate had to determine whether the trial court erred in ruling to award the majority of the stock sale proceeds the husband received during marriage in connection with a company he set up prior to the marriage to the community. The calculation was made under the Periera standard. The trial court found that the husband became the ?chief contributing factor? in the company?s eventual success. The appellate court affirmed the ruling of the trial court.
